Golf Playoffs
Kyle German of Surrey, B.C., defeated Marc Girouard of St-Sauveur, Que., in a playoff to win the Canadian Professional Golf Association Club Pro Championship played at Port St. Lucie, Florida, yesterday. German (72) and Girouard (72) finished three days of regulation play at 3-under-par 213, two strokes ahead of Winnipeg’s Dean North (74) and Brett Burgeson (72) of Airdrie, Alta. Jean Leduc of Gatineau was tied for sixth at 218 after a closing 73.
