Langley’s Kim tops leaderboard
Sue Kim of has opened up a five-shot lead after two rounds of the B.C. Junior girls’ golf championship at Sunnydale Golf and Country Club in Courtenay.
Kim followed up her record-setting 68 on Tuesday with a 3-under par 70 yesterday for a two-round total of 138. Soo-Bin Kim of Port and Amanda Baker of Nanaimo are tied for second at 143.
The final round goes today and the top four finishers will represent B.C. at the Royale Canadian Junior championship next month in Winnipeg.
